Wentz Foot & Ankle Specialists is located in the beautiful mountain town of Salida, Colorado, and serves the residents of and visitors to central Colorado. Our patient-centered clinic treats patients of all ages and offers same-day appointments for urgent needs.
Dr. Ralph Wentz, a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon, opened the practice in 1994. He and his staff share an unwavering commitment to providing the highest standard of medical and surgical care of the foot, ankle and lower leg.
Our office is conveniently located on the campus of Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, where Dr. Wentz performs surgery.
Our Physician
Dr. Ralph Wentz is a doctor of podiatric medicine and board-certified foot and ankle surgeon. With more than 30 years of experience, he provides gentle, expert care to patients of all ages with foot, ankle and lower-leg conditions.
An avid skier and competitive mountain biker, Dr. Wentz decided as a 15-year-old ski patroller in northern Pennsylvania that he wanted to help heal the broken bones and other injuries he witnessed on the ski mountain.
Dr. Wentz received his medical training at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his residency in trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.
